**Description**
- The Park Services Supervisor at Island Waterpark is critical to ensuring an overall clean atmosphere of Island Waterpark that meets or exceeds brand and guest standards. The Park Services Supervisor is responsible for directly overseeing the associates who are maintaining restroom sanitization, cleanliness of pool deck areas, wiping down surfaces, stain removal, and overall general cleaning._

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- _Protects establishment and guests by adhering to cleanliness of the entire Waterpark_
- _ Oversee associates who performance daily routine chores and maintenance of the Waterpark to ensure overall cleanliness and a neat and orderly appearance, including the cleaning of decks, restrooms, locker rooms, and shower areas._
- _ Ensures that furniture and hard surfaces of public areas are clean and organized; Keeps floors free of debris and spills and empties all waste receptacles in public spaces_
- _ Maintains cleaning chemical and cleaning supplies inventory and orders additional items as needed._
- _ Schedules Park Service Attendants as appropriate to ensure a clean environment in all areas of the waterpark._
- _ Mentors, coaches, and counsels Park Service Associates on their attendance and work performance._
- _ Responsible for the promotion of a safe and professional workplace through adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Island Waterpark handbook and other training material_
- _ Interacts with waterpark guests by greeting, answer questions, and responding to requests_

**Basic Qualifications**
- _ Must be a minimum age of 18 years old_
- _ Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or Holidays as needed_
- _ Meticulous by nature with strong attention to detail_
- _ Previous leadership experience in a similar role_

**Preferred Qualifications**
- _ Proactive and able to initiate tasks and work independently without constant supervision._
- _ Strong customer service and oral communication skills_
- _ Previous experience with sanitation and guest services_
- _ Previous experience with safe handling and utilization of chemicals according to instructions_

**Physical Requirements**
- _Heavy work - Exerting up to 80 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects_
- _ Flexible and long hours are sometimes required including weekends and holidays. Time spent may be dictated by the number of clients or groups on property or by the time of the season_
- _ Ability to move frequently throughout the large facility_
- _ Standing and walking for long periods of time_
- _ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment _
- _Must be able to work in environmental conditions that include, but are not limited to: Wet and humid environments, indoor tropical environmental conditions with up to 90% humidity and warm temperatures in excess of 70F, as well as outdoor environmental conditions_

**Mental Requirements**
- _Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately_
- _ Must be able to show initiative in job performance including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity_
- _ Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure_

- _ Make independent decisions while maintaining strong ethical standards consistent with company policy, rules and the ability to maintain confidential information_
