**Key Animal Responsibilities**:

- In charge of the overall Health, Welfare and proper handling of all live animals
- Be knowledgeable of and adhere to Department of Agriculture rules and standards
- Order all store livestock following established guidelines
- Work with new Staff to ensure all are trained in basic care and needs of each live animal
- Work to train staff on proper animal setup (store vs. home environment)
- Ensure cleanliness standards of all animal enclosures and fish tanks.
- Help to develop a fun and knowledgeable “Destination Experience” to our customers

**Sales & Inventory Responsibilities**
- Work with the Merchandising Manager to ensure animal care products are stocked properly.
- Work with Staff to ensure overstock is pulled from the warehouse and shelves maintained daily.
- Ensure Animal Supply areas are clean, organized and merchandized appropriately
- Notify Store Manager of any product needs or stock issues
- Notify Store Manager of all Store Use Animal care needs weekly
- Responsible for Department budgeted Sales goals, gross margin and inventory loss

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Supervisory Level Pet Care in a Retail Store: 1 year (preferred)
