Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Cashier/Salesperson. If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a friendly, energetic and interactive environment, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently open and close store according to start up and closing operations checklist
- Greet customers and provide excellent service throughout their gem mining experience
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase key features
- Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales
- Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues
- Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: cracking geodes, re-stocking inventory, cleaning out mining trough, general cleaning, carrying mining buckets out to customers, filling mining buckets, answering phone calls and identifying gems

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse customers
- Knowledge of retail math for handling transactions accurately
- Organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain a tidy workspace
- Be able to safely lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Willing to be outside in the elements while helping customers at times. This includes rain, heat, and sometimes cooler temperatures.
