**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Communicates with internal and external stakeholders to gather information to create a variety of graphic assets.
- Applies design fundamentals to create overall concept, design, look and feel of each project across all related material in print and digital media for events, presentations, lectures and newsletters in a way that clearly advances the UArizona Health Sciences brand messaging and is highly effective in visually appealing to the appropriate intended audience.
- Executes multimedia and graphics projects requiring the use of communication and multimedia technology, graphic design concepts and programs, and/or photography and videography.
- Develops and builds logos, and a variety of other design assets based the Health Sciences strategic priorities.
- Processes and edits photographs and videos using digital editing systems.
- Ensures adherence to media inventory storage standards.
- Coordinates efforts based on predetermined best practices for the University and Health Sciences Office of Communications Creative Area.
- Manages and communicates all workflows to the Senior Manager.
- Coordinate with outside vendors, as needed, through shared task management software.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)**:

- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiar with using design concepts to originate and create design projects.
- Able to communicate clearly all aspects of any design project utilizing industry accepted terminology with internal clients and outside vendors.
- Knowledge of digital asset management systems and shared content storage.
- Knowledge and use of graphic design principles, theories and concepts.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
- One (1) year of relevant work experience required.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience working in higher education and research environments.
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Experience using design concepts to originate and create design projects.
- Experience in a setting where detailed instruction to perform work is delivered and work is reviewed closely for accuracy.
