**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the supervision and care of children across different classrooms, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Follow the lead of the lead teacher or classroom staff in implementing age-appropriate activities, lesson plans, and daily routines.
- Provide support in implementing behavior management strategies, promoting positive discipline, and fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including sanitizing toys and equipment, tidying up areas, and ensuring a safe and hazard-free space.
- Assist with the preparation and serving of snacks, meals, and bottles, ensuring adherence to dietary restrictions and safety guidelines.
- Assist with diapering, toileting, and hand-washing routines, promoting good hygiene practices among children.
- Engage in playtime activities, interactive games, and educational exercises to encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, updating them on their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns or incidents.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (CDA certification or relevant early childhood education coursework is a plus).
- Previous experience working in a daycare, preschool, or similar childcare setting is a must.
- Strong passion for working with children and providing a nurturing and educational environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of child development principles, health, and safety regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet any state-specific requirements for working in a daycare setting.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
