The Inventory Clerk assists the Inventory Control Manager in overseeing and maintaining Surf Broadband Solutions supply of products and equipment. This position involves keeping track of all products and supplies, ensuring that stock is organized, and assisting in the unloading and processing deliveries as well as delivery of stock.
**Responsibilities**:
- Receive and stock all new inventory.
- Load and deliver weekly inventory shipments to SBS offices in Coal City, IL; Mendota, IL; Elkhart, IN; Fowlerville, MI; and Byron Center, MI. Expected travel 2-3 days per week.
- Complete inventory transfers based on delivered product/equipment
- Actively maintain order and organization of inventory at our LaPorte, IN warehouse.
- Disperse inventory supplies to field technicians during the weekly tech meeting.
- Maintain the inventory database in Sonar and Netsuite.
- Oversee weekly inventory reconciliation for all field technicians.
- Assist with monthly inventory reconciliation for all warehouse inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and general office spaces.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- Clean driving record and valid drivers license.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Professional in appearance.
- Ability to work alone and be able to evaluate the work completed to assure its quality.
- Ability to work in a safe and effective manner and keep the work area clean at all times.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete small tasks and larger projects without direct supervision.
