Minivasive Pain and Orthopedics is looking for a **_full-time Referral_**_ Intake Coordinator_** **to join our team. The Referral Intake Coordinator completes and processes incoming referrals and maintains effective communication to inter-departmental teams.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Collects new patient referrals and updates corresponding referral log
- Completes the new patient checklist form
- Schedules and reschedules patients' initial consultations as necessary
- Refers scheduled patient to appropriate physician and office clinic
- Informs and provides a patient with necessary information and instructions prior to the appointment date
- Notifies necessary parties and providers concerning no show and/or non-compliant patients
- Takes telephone messages and provides feedback and answers to patient/physician

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Great customer service skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- One year in customer service

**WORK WEEK SCHEDULE**:

- Monday-Friday
- 8-hour work day
