Personal Care Assistant

Harmony Hills Assisted Living is an 8 bed CBRF located between Reedsburg and Loganville. We are in search on an individual to join our team that can be flexible with their hours. We are looking for someone that is able to work a variety of shifts. Our shifts run from 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am. We are in need of some one that is able to assist with activities when needed, run residents to and from appointments, and fill in when other staff needs time off. This potential hire will be sure to get their hours each week but need to be flexible. Some other responsibilities are listed as below.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care assistance to individuals in need, including physical and intellectual disabilities.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transfers when necessary.
- Support individuals in managing their behavior and promoting positive interactions.
- Provide direct support to individuals in a home like setting
- Administer first aid and medication
- Offer emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Provide transportation to and from appointments and outings with use of a company vehicle

Some skills that may be helpful:

- Experience in senior care, caregiving, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Ability to provide direct support to individuals with diverse needs.
- Proficiency in administering first aid and medication.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
