Working Conditions
Telework may be available for this position for California residents based on the requirements of the position, with a minimum of two in-person working days per week, and may be discussed during the interview process. Hiring interviews may be available virtually, using teleconferencing or video conferencing options.
While working on-site, the incumbent works in a professional office environment, in a climate-controlled area which may fluctuate in temperature and is under artificial light. The incumbent will be required to use a computer, mouse, and keyboard, and will be required to sit for long periods of time at a computer screen. Employee must be able to focus for long periods of time, manage multiple tasks, adapt to changes in priorities, and complete tasks or projects with short notice. Desirable Qualifications
Experience in reconciliation of accounting system submodules to general ledger including month-end and year-end close experience.
- Experience in accounting for assets including capital assets, fixed assets, equipment, information technology agreements, civil infrastructure, and or real property.
- Experience in data analytics using advanced Excel skills including but not limited to vlookups, xlookups, Power Query, and pivot tables to prepare, track, monitor, and report accounting transactions.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in Excel and logically analyze and resolve data integrity issues.
- Experience interpreting and working with contract related accounting transactions and/or contract agreements.
