- A family just 5 minutes from the vibrant heart of Downtown Austin is seeking a FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT for their two school-aged children, aged 7 and 12. The children, a 7-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl, are intelligent, active, engaged, and would benefit from a little extra support due to ADHD and dyslexia.
The nanny should be adept at providing structure and discipline while fostering a nurturing environment. Responsibilities include maintaining a structured routine, assisting with homework, coordinating after-school activities, preparing meals for the family, and ensuring the children are ready for bed. Additionally, the nanny will be responsible for household tasks such as tidying rooms, managing the family calendar, grocery shopping, running errands, feeding, walking and letting the family dog out, and handling children’s laundry.
The family is looking for a proactive organized individual who thrives in a structured environment. A nanny who is confident, able to say no when needed, and stays extremely organized. The children flourish with organization, and a strict routine.
Pay is $27-32/hr gross, via payroll. Benefits include 2 weeks paid vacation and 3-5 sick days. A passport is a bonus for potential travel with the family. The family has no vaccine preference. Start date is flexible, up to August
**Qualifications**:
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study
CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
A passion for working with children
Two+ years childcare experience
Excellent work and personal references
Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus
Competent swimmer
Non-smoker
Willing to go through extensive Background Check
Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
Willingness to show proof of immunizations
No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
