**Sound good? (We think so, too) Here’s what you would do**:

- Educate members about the YMCA programs and mission
- Monitor access to the facility by ensuring members and participants check-in upon arrival
- Answer all incoming calls in a courteous manner
- Maintain working knowledge of skatepark and Association programs in order to educate members
- Greet, interview and tour feature skatepark members
- Create a safe and fun skating/riding environment
- Supervise participants at all times
- Model the values and mission of the YMCA
- Follow YMCA standards and procedures
- Build professional relationships with members, participants, staff and the community

**“OK, I’m sold” What do I need to qualify?**
- Must be 18 or older
- Passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to the mission and cause of the YMCA
- Experience with Action Sports
- Must possess flexibility especially in scheduling shifts, including ability to work weekends
- The physical ability to lift 35 pounds
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency
- CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification obtained within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations:

- American Red Cross
- American Heart Association
- American Safety & Health Institute
