The Haverhill YMCA is looking for an Inclusion specialist to help ensure each child in our Early Childcare Centers is allowed to reach his/her full potential. On a regular day, you will conduct and document observations, provide feedback to staff, and monitor the behavior, and support needs of program participants. The Inclusion Specialist reviews behavioral incident reports and monitors for patterns, supports the implementation of social and emotional curriculum, works with individual students while providing guidance, models expectations, and teaches social/emotional skills. Additionally, you will support an inclusive and positive environment by incorporating appropriate modifications and accommodations, support screenings and assessments, evaluate and communicate results, and reassess as needed. As part of an active team of childcare specialists, you'll facilitate educational opportunities, not limited to but including workshops, staff development, and family engagement.
