Facilitate Master Schedule of Classes & Gradebook Management:

- In PowerSchool create framework of the master schedule of classes under the direction of the assistant principal assigned to master scheduling.
- Gather and manage information related to the master schedule-meet with ESOL, Special Education, Mathematics, English, Reading departments to secure course requests under the direction of the assistant principal assigned to master scheduling.
- Use powerscheduler and live scheduling to prepare master schedule of classes and placement of students in classes under the direction of the assistant principal assigned to master scheduling.
- Serve as liaison to faculty and staff with questions, requests troubleshooting for PowerSchool and PowerTeacher.
- Complete process of storing students’ course and citizenship grades.
- Complete tasks related to publication of honor roll and report cards.

School Finance and Budget:

- Prepare and manage all school finance and budgetary records as determined by the school principal:

- Prepare and coordinate all aspects of the school and department/staff budgets.
- Oversee school-wide purchase and distribution of office supplies, textbooks, instructional materials, office equipment & other technology, and contracted services.
- Maintain building activity accounts-process check requests, make bank deposits, and reconcile monthly account statements.
- Oversee department/staff credit card accounts-collect sales receipts, reconcile monthly account statements.
- Manage school purchase orders, prepare and issue reimbursements for purchases, fees, services rendered, etc.

General Duties:

- Coordinate the involvement of all internal and external contractors.
- Manage all building rentals, bookings, and rental contracts (including field trips).
- Oversee functions of the office staff.
- Work as liaison with the custodial department.
- Serve as liaison between staff and administrators.
- Provide additional secretarial support as needed.

REQUIREMENTS: The requirements for this position include knowledge, experience and ability in the following areas:

- Demonstrated proficiency in using PowerSchool to build master schedules, manage teacher gradebooks, close & store quarter grades and other related tasks.
- Working knowledge of accounting practices to generate reports and perform required duties of the position.
- Ability to work with confidential information and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving skills with a willingness to troubleshoot in situations where solutions are needed.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment coordinating and managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally with a variety of stakeholders including school staff, parents and students across lines of difference.
