**Human Resources**:

- **Employee Records Management**: Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all personal and employment information is accurate and confidential.
- **Payroll Administration**: Process payroll bi-weekly, ensuring accurate and timely payment to all employees. Manage employee benefits and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- **Employee Relations**: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.
- **Compliance**: Ensure the academy’s HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Assist with the preparation of compliance reports and documentation.

**Bookkeeping**:

- **Financial Transactions**: Record all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, and manage the general ledger.
- **Bank Reconciliations**: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- **Expense Tracking**: Monitor and track expenses, ensuring they align with the academy’s budget. Report any discrepancies or unusual expenses to management.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- **Tax Preparation**: Assist in preparing and filing tax documents, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- **Audits**: Support external auditors by providing necessary documentation and information during audit processes.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in bookkeeping and human resources is required. Familiarity with payroll systems and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is preferred.

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

**Other Requirements**: Ability to work part-time hours, including flexibility to accommodate the academy’s needs. A background check will be required.
- A proactive and reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- A team player who is willing to collaborate with colleagues to achieve the academy’s goals.
