Under the supervision and training of a **_Board Certified Behavior Analyst_** (BCBA) the **Registered Behavior Technician** (RBT) will implement individualized **_Applied Behavior Analysis_** (ABA) treatment plans and behavior intervention plans to children with Autism at our _**Cypress **_**_Center_**. The (RBT) will implement programs and collect data daily on individualized functional goals for each client with efficacy.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy
- Implement and collect data on behavioral skill acquisition, behavior reduction and functional living protocols
- Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client’s individualized protocols.
- Assist _Lead RBTs_ and _BCBAs_ with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments and preparing client materials as instructed. Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the _BCBA._
- Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
- Maintain client dignity and confidentiality
**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES**:
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets
- Clear and concise in clinical documentation
- Optimal time management and communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships within the organization
- Ability to multi-task in an efficient/timely manner
- Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by the code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols.
- Ability to orchestrate quality care consistently to our clients
**BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's License
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites if needed.
**EXPERIENCE**:
- Preferred: Experience working with children ages 0-16 provided in a 1:1 setting and/or experience implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
**EDUCATION**:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field.
