** Applicant Must Possess Required Qualifications and Experience**

Supervises and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the planning team. Assists in developing and ensuring the uniform implementation of planning policies and procedures. Recommends and initiates projects and efforts to streamline and improve production schedule adherence.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Staff supervision, team development and serving as a positive role model to vigorously ensure high quality and delivery.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators and ensure daily collection and reporting.
- Communicate organizational strategies, provide focus, and ensure alignment with the planning team’s daily activities and projects.
- To provide coaching and performance/work habits feedback to members of the planning team
- When necessary to document and improve performance/work habits of employees
- Use knowledge and experience to handle custom and standard finished good production tray releases and resolves.
- Communicate component issues to the appropriate departments.
- Identifies slow moving Finished Trays and assists in the reduction of these components.
- Guide and direct planning and Sourcing team.
- Produce and Publish the Production Schedule Daily to include populating the ZPS.
- Refresh and distribute the CPS report to the Planning team and additional recipients daily.
- Review MRP daily analyzing the requirements of the Finished Goods and determines date requirements for finished good. Analyzes actual consumption compared against established forecast and adjusts the production schedule accordingly.
- Monitors every assigned tray for customer usage (Estimated Monthly Usage (EMU)). Submit for approval of EMU revisions via analytical data.

Planning (ERP) system.

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Oversees all split tray production orders (reduced lot sizes due to waiting) based on information supplied from the production team.
- Daily, reviews Focus report to issue components that just arrived (clearing Issued/Pulling report) and review component delivery dates.
- Daily, reviews ratios of assigned trays on the CPS report to release, cancel or reschedule production orders.
- Prepare and review an individualized action item report for the accounts assigned. This customized report must be sent three times a week to the assigned Sales Representative. Upon request, some Sales Representatives will receive the report daily.
- Coordinates all activities related to the planning of assigned Finished Goods from initial schedule through continuous management of end user inventory.
- Reviews Lost Business run out plans with the Planner assigned to the account. In addition, is responsible for sale/reimbursement for any unique components in the trays.
- Review Finished Goods Slow Moving & Obsolete Materials inventory in coordination with the Senior Inventory Control Coordinator to determine items that are moving, Obsolete, ready for De-kit, or should be destroyed.
- Evaluates raw material availability for finished goods, communicates component requirements with purchasing to determine availability. Then determines proper execution to meet end user requirements of finished tray.
- Communicates with Sales Representatives and determines whether a deletion or substitution must occur to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Along with Sourcing Specialist and Buyers, advises team members and/or Leadership of the appropriate recommended substitutions when primary component is not available.
- Assures that the finished good tray is scheduled correctly, coordinates all associated communication with producing finished good tray to meet customer demand.
- Coordinates appropriate method of shipment to maintain supply in a cost-effective manner. Ensures Customer Service properly ships Backorder Trays as priority.
- Maintains appropriate confidentiality with sensitive information, I.E. tray pricing, bill of material vendor information.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as requested by immediate supervisor, other management personnel or as business need dictates.
- Maintains accurate data in the Enterprise Resource

**Qualifications**

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of two years of expe
