**Position Title: Maintenance Worker (Night-hours range from 3:00-11:30PM, 2-3 Days a week will vary)**

**Summary: To perform general and preventative maintenance services and related repairs to district buildings, structures, machinery and equipment.**

**Qualifications**:

**Performance Responsibilities**:
**JOB GOAL: To perform general and preventative maintenance services and related repairs to district buildings, structures, machinery and equipment**

**1. Performs general maintenance duties which may be assigned in one or more of the following areas**:
**i. Carpentry**

**ii. Driving**

**iii. Electrical**

**iv. Landscaping**

**v. HVAC**

**vi. Locksmith**

**vii. Masonry**

**viii. Painting**

**ix. Plumbing**

**x. Inventory Control**

**xi. Operate Snow plow and salter**

**2.Ensures maintenance requests and work orders are completed satisfactorily**

**3. Refers work requiring more specialized attention or skilled craftsmanship to appropriate trade lead and follows up through completion**

**4. Maintain and service Parking lots, repair holes.**

**5. Maintains tools and equipment required for maintenance tasks**

**6. Maintains an accurate inventory of equipment and supplies**

**7. Makes emergency repairs within knowledge and responsibility**

**8. Inspects machinery to ensure proper functionality, including checking pressures and temperatures, as required**

**9. Daily vehicle inspection**

**10. Attends professional development events as required by district administration**

**11. Performs such duties as assigned by the Manager of Facilities and/or Maintenance Supervisor**

**12. Must be able to perform all of the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodations, if necessary**

**13.Drive rental vehicles for moving, transportation etc.**

**14. Moving furniture/items from building to building**

**15 Install doors, windows, fixtures and signage**

**16. Install fences and locks**

**17.Installation and maintenance of technology items**

**18.Network low voltage**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**1. Trade or vocational school diploma OR two years’ experience in one or more of the building trades, or a combination of training and experience that equates to three years**

**2. Ability to input and manipulate data using a computer**

**3. Working knowledge of two or more trades and mechanical aptitude**

**4. Knowledge and ability to operate tools of the trade**

**5. Availability to work beyond the normal work day/work week**

**6. Required physical examination as performed by a licensed physician**

**7. Required criminal history background check, drug screening and eligibility to work in the United States**

**8. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.**

**9. Ability to climb ladders up to 20 feet**

**10. Sufficient physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of the job, including heavy work with exposure to inclement weather for prolonged periods of time**

**11. Conscientiousness and keen attentiveness to detail**

**12. Must be able to wear and use appropriate protective equipment, as necessary**

**13. Ability to read, write, communicate effectively, and understand and follow verbal and written instructions**

**Reports to: Maintenance Manager**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 29 per week

Schedule:
