WEEKEND ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT

Supervision and Direction:
The Activities Assistant/Aide is responsible for assisting the Activities Director in implementing the activity program. The Activities Assistant/Aide will receive general supervision and direction from the Activities Director and will comply with established policies and operational procedures.
- Implement the activity programs in a manner which encourages resident participation, including verbally reminding residents of upcoming programs and assisting with transporting residents to/from activities.
- Maintain attendance records including the degree of participation of each resident and refusals. Assist with any other documentation required by regulatory agencies and the facility.
- Must possess basic skills in music and arts and crafts to assist Activities Director with job related projects (i.e. bulletin boards, newsletters, sing-a-longs, etc.)
- Observes and protects residents’ rights including rights to confidentiality, privacy and dignity.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

- 4 hour shift
