Asst. Tech Center Manager

- Manage scheduling and overseeing of all Test Center activities including tests and assignment of personnel under the direction of the Tech Center Manager in coordination with the sales department
- Ensure all test equipment is in the proper configuration and in accordance with the schedule
- Responsible (along with other team members) for reviewing Material Safety Data and Explosivity Data to comply with state and federal regulations
- Responsible for the receipt and return of all test material back to customer (log to be maintained including material receive/ ship dates).
- Vendor management and oversight
- Manage the purchase of all Tech Center supplies, including uniforms
- Establish and implement routine maintenance schedule for test center equipment
- Participate in the Company’s product development initiative
- Conduct Test Center tests as directed by Tech Center Manager
- Ensure general upkeep and organization of the Test Center
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Qualifications- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- 5+ years’ experience in managing similar operations
- Knowledge of size reduction equipment preferred
- Education- Bachelor’s degree (mechanical or chemical engineering preferred)
