**Job Summary**:
SimpliGov is seeking experienced Strategic Account Directors to manage a portfolio of our existing accounts (locations vary). The goal is to ensure our customers are maximizing the benefit of our platform and services by promoting our use-case applicability and making delivery even easier. This position offers significant opportunities in terms of compensation and career progression.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Own the account.** You’ll be responsible for an account’s commercial success and use-case adoption, so you’ll need to lead, direct and program manage both customer and SimpliGov internal resources to achieve tangible outcomes.
- **Build relationships, identify opportunities and promote SimpliGov solutions** at both strategic and tactical level. You’ll need deep experience of State Government, IT and the project delivery challenges faced by gov CIOs and business sponsors to succeed.
- **On-the-fly solutions consulting.** Your credibility with our customers will depend on your understanding of their challenges paired with detailed knowledge of our platform. You will quickly become a ‘hands-on’ SimpliGov product specialist, able to identify and progress opportunities with trusted advisor status.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar commercial role delivering tech solutions to government.
- Ability to develop strong relationships and work extensively at the executive level.
- Self-starter and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT solutions experience.
- Solid problem identification and objections resolution skills.
- Excellent customer-facing written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Flexibility in taking on challenges and changing directions when necessary.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the US

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $140,000 plus commission and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
