**Essential Duties**
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in English and Spanish to perform essential duties.
- Provide leadership and strategic planning for the ASU CAMP Project to ensure program delivery meets all grant objectives and complies with federal and university statutory and regulatory requirements and conditions of the grant award.
- Review and approve ASU CAMP activities and outreach programming by professional and student staff to adhere to the grant policies and objectives.
- Direct the delivery of grant-defined tailored services promoting STEM achievement and research internship readiness using the framework of self-regulated learning.
- Cultivate and maintain partnerships with university leadership and critical internal and external stakeholders to support the CAMP mission and deliver appropriate student services to applicants and enrolled CAMP students.
- Travel throughout Arizona, occasional overnight stays, occasional work during evening and weekend hours.
- Create systems and monitor projects and programming supporting program outcomes, internal procedures, student engagement, and participant retention and completion.
- Maintain the program's database and ensure the accuracy of records of the grant’s progress toward achieving its objectives for completion of Annual Performance Reports and other data reports as requested by the Department of Education.
- Manage and monitor grant budget expenditures; review documentation for accuracy and compliance; maintain and reconcile budget; and advise and determine which expenditures are within the budget guidelines. Organize the grant’s budget monthly reconciliation financial reports; analyze, summarize, and interpret information; and create Principal Investigator expenditure reports.
- Hire, train, and supervise professional staff and provide individual coaching and professional development tools to execute job responsibilities. Provide support to staff in the supervision of student workers.
- Work closely and provides input to the grant writer for the next funding cycle.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND eight (8) years of related administrative experience, which includes five (5) years of supervisory experience; OR, Twelve (12) years of related administrative experience, which includes five (5) years of supervisory experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Evidence of a Graduate degree (doctorate preferred) in a relevant field with at least five (5) years of supervisory experience in a university setting.
- Evidence of effective communication skills including public speaking, in English and Spanish.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish - read, write, speak.
- Experience working with low-income, first-generation, underserved, or MSFW students and fostering an inclusive environment for students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience with meeting objectives of a grant and maintaining compliance with federal and university statutory and regulatory requirements and conditions of the grant award.
- Experience designing, implementing, and assessing culturally responsive programs in higher education.
- Evidence of project management skills, including event coordination, priority setting, budgeting, communication, and data analysis.
- Experience in leading a team, represent the team at University and community wide events, foster effective working relationships, and remain composed under pressure.
- Experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and anticipate program needs.
- Demonstrated knowledge with ASU administrative processes and policies and navigating institutional barriers at a large institution while adhering to FERPA guidelines.
- Experience in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
