**Production Planner job overview**:
**Production Planner Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Assist in daily and weekly production planning.
- Perform Detailed inventory analysis to determine production needs.
- Coordinate production flow.
- Provide Administrative support to Production Supervisor
- Adjust and correct work booking through ERP.
- Analyze and report production scrap rate.
- Find ways to reduce costs and maximize quality.
- Collaborate with Supply chain and Production.
**Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications)**:
- B.S. in Operations Management or related fields
- Internship experience in manufacturing and/or fabrication or Supply Chain is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment and quality assurance techniques is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft suites such Excel and Word
- Strong Mathematical and analytical skills
