Flyers Energy (a World Fuel Services, Inc company) is hiring for Logistics Coordinator 1.

Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, $21 an hour.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for the daily dispatch of company assets and delivery vehicles for multiple markets served throughout our footprint. The ideal team member has demonstrated themselves as an asset to the Dispatch team in terms of professionalism, positive attitude, and ability to support the Flyer's vision and culture. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provides the highest standards of customer service to both internal and external customers through efficient communication, routing, and on-time delivery to meet customer expectations.
- Dispatch to ensure drivers comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration hours of service laws.
- Maintains utilizations of resources including, but not limited to: methods, procedures, structure, equipment, and team members.
- Monitors route productivity and efficiency, reports on trends and recommends changes to continually improve productivity and routing efficiency. Works closely with other departments to implement changes as needed.
- Analyze delivery assets to maximize loading capacities.
- Keeps all parties informed of current issues, changes, and new developments by actively participating in meetings and keeping communication open.
- Other projects or duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Office setting
- Sitting long periods throughout the day

EXPERIENCE:
2 years of administrative experience or 1 year being in a dispatch or transportation-related environment.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent

OTHER SKILLS:

- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Strong technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
- Excellent problem solving, planning and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite or Microsoft Office
- Sense of urgency and commitment with strong follow up skills.
