Procesa todas las solicitudes, cambios y cancelaciones de reservas recibidas por teléfono, facsímil o correo. Identifica las necesidades de reservas de los huéspedes, determina el tipo de cuarto apropiado y verifica su disponibilidad y precio. Explica a los llamantes las políticas de garantía, precios especiales y cancelación. Acomoda y documenta solicitudes especiales. Prepara las cuentas de facturación apropiadas (por ejemplo: compartida, cuarto/impuestos/imprevistos, exención de impuestos, facturación directa/especial y reservas de grupos) de acuerdo con las políticas de contabilidad. Prepara, revisa y emite recibos, facturas e informes de cuentas de acuerdo con los procedimientos de la compañía. Ofrece un servicio excelente tanto a clientes internos como externos. Garantiza el cumplimiento de procedimientos de operación estándar y locales (SOP y LSOP según sus siglas en inglés). Trabaja de cerca con diversos departamentos y entidades externas para garantizar la satisfacción de los grupos, desde antes de su llegada hasta la emisión de la factura final. Obedece todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad de la compañía, se asegura de que su uniforme y su aspecto personal sea limpio y profesional, mantiene la privacidad de la información de la compañía y protege sus bienes. Informa todos los accidentes, lesiones y condiciones de trabajo peligrosas a un gerente. Acoge y reconoce a todos los huéspedes de acuerdo con las normas de la compañía, anticipa y atiende las necesidades de servicio de los huéspedes, asiste a las personas con discapacidades y da las gracias a los huéspedes con un aprecio genuino. Habla con otras personas usando un lenguaje claro y profesional; contesta a los teléfonos usando la etiqueta apropiada. Prepara y revisa con precisión y puntualmente los documentos escritos; lee y verifica visualmente información en diferentes formatos. Cumple con las expectativas y normas de garantía de calidad. Desarrolla y mantiene unas relaciones laborales positivas con otras personas, apoya al equipo para lograr las metas comunes y escucha y responde apropiadamente a los problemas de otros empleados.
