**Job description**
We are seeking an experienced and professional bartender to join our team at our esteemed fine dining establishment. As the Bartender, you will uphold the highest standards of service excellence while providing guests with a memorable dining experience. Additionally, you will serve as the second in command to the General Manager, overseeing Front of House operations in their absence.
**Responsibilities**:
- Craft and serve a diverse selection of premium cocktails, wines, and other beverages with precision and artistry, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and creating an inviting ambiance for guests.
- Engage with guests in a polished and attentive manner, offering recommendations, and providing exceptional service throughout their dining experience.
- Execute cash and credit transactions with accuracy and efficiency, following proper cash handling procedures and maintaining a high level of integrity.
- Contribute to inventory management efforts, including monitoring stock levels, placing orders for supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Lead by example and provide guidance to bar staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies for enhancing service quality, maximizing revenue, and exceeding guest expectations.
- Assume responsibility for overseeing Front of House operations in the absence of the General Manager, including managing staff and resolving any guest issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of beverage recipes, preparation techniques, and presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
**Compensation**:$9/hour + tips
Pay: $9.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
