**Job Summary**:
Under general supervision of the Director, Talent Acquisition in collaboration of the Manager, Talent Acquisition and Manager, Student Employment, the Employment Services (Talent Acquisition and Student Employment) Coordinator provides coordination of simple to complex clerical and administrative support functions for the Employment Services department. The incumbent provides high quality customer service to internal and external constituents and students. The incumbent participates in various Employment Services activities and will coordinate the New Employee Orientation for new employees to ensure a welcoming experience.

The incumbent also provides cross-functional administrative support to other Employment Services personnel as needed.

**Duties and responsibilities**

Student Employment

New Hire Intake - coordinate completion of Federal I-9 form utilizing Tracker I-9.

Assist with data entry/data for employment information and personal data in the University’s Human Resource Information System (e.g., PeopleSoft, Cherwell) for new student employees, rehire of student employees, termination of student employees, and other related student employee data.

Assist with planning and attending campus events including, but not limited to job fairs (in-person, virtual, hybrid), student employment appreciation day/week, College to Career Readiness initiatives, student employment training workshops.

Creates job announcements and posts student recruitments.

Purge student employment personnel files utilizing records retention schedule.

Provide assistance on special projects upon request.

Talent Acquisition

Coordinate interviews and contact applicants, as needed.

Live Scan and Background Check Coordination Support.

Plan and coordinate the New Employee Orientation (NEO). Generates the employee guest list; Administers a post-NEO survey to gather feedback.

Assists with special projects, workshops, and events.

Office Coordination

Respond to calls that come through the Student Employment and Talent Acquisition phone lines.

Performs administrative tasks, drafts and types correspondence.

Assist in maintaining social media platforms for Talent Acquisition and Student Employment (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).

Provides coordination support for the Directors calendar, travel, and meetings. Provide administrative/clerical support to Manager, Talent Acquisition and Manager, Student Employment as needed.

Other classification

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or its equivalent.
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in general office clerical or secretarial work or the equivalent.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Comprehensive and detailed knowledge of the university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
- Thorough mastery of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Expertise in using office software packages, technology, and systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot most office administration problems and respond to all inquiries and requests related to work area.
- Ability to understand problems from a broader perspective and anticipate the impact of office administration problems and solutions on other areas.
- Ability to analyze operational and procedural problems and develop, recommend, and evaluate proposed solutions.
- Ability to perform business math, analyze budgetary data, and make accurate projections requiring some inference.
- Ability to effectively write and present own reports.
- Ability to effectively handle interpersonal interactions at all levels and handle highly sensitive interpersonal situations.
- Ability to use negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve results and expedite projects.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree with a major in public administration, business administration, human resources, or closely related field is preferred.
- General clerical/administrative work experience in Human Resources or closely related field is preferred.
- Experience with social media platforms.
- Experience with MS Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience using Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, Chatbot programs,
- Calendar Coordination experience

**Compensation and Benefits**:
Anticipated Hiring Range: $3,865 - $4,410 per month

Classification Salary Range: $3,865 -$6,336 per month

The salary offered will take into account internal equity and experience among other factors.
