**Department Purpose**

Enrollment Management Analytics (EMA) provides critical data analysis, complex reporting functions, and recommendations to campus leadership, allowing them to make informed data-driven decisions for the essential functions of enrollment management: Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid and Scholarships, and Office of the University Registrar. We also ensure data integrity, quality control and maintenance in all aspects of our work.

EMA leads the selection process for Undergraduate Admissions to meet campus and UC systemwide enrollment goals and initiatives. We provide timely analysis and advice to campus leaders about emergent issues that may affect recruitment, enrollment, retention, various student services and other critical campus operational areas. We also provide automated daily reports to Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid and Scholarships to help meet their operational needs.

**Job Summary**

Under the general direction of Director of Enrollment Management Analytics: Provide institutional research, data analysis and reporting for senior campus leaders on matters related to admission, financial aid, registration and enrollment, including the Director, campus constituents, UC Office of the President, as well as external publics. Support enrollment activities of the campus by providing high-level, applied research and enrollment management analysis.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- UC Davis is a smoke and tobacco free campus effective January 1, 2014. **QUALIFICATIONS**

**Required**:
**Minimum Education/Experience**
- Experience working with databases and visualization tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and/or Power BI).
- Experience writing and editing a variety of analytical reports, proposals, correspondence, procedures, agreements, and training documents.

**Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)**
- Data collection, analytical, problem-solving and management skills to independently research and conduct applied statistical analyses, develop and present solutions to complex problems and issues in a creative, non-technical manner using Stata or other similar statistical packages.
- Organizational skills to organize, plan, coordinate and set priorities effectively; multi-task and adapt to conflicting and changing priorities on multiple simultaneous projects.
- Interpersonal, active listening, and public speaking skills to communicate extremely complex and often sensitive information to broad audiences.

- Knowledge of UC and campus enrollment management policies and procedures, as well as University rules, regulations, and policies, particularly in handling sensitive data.
