As the Program Specialist Alumni and Community Engagement, your role will be crucial in fostering a strong and supportive community for program alumni. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage and support the alumni community, ensuring their continued growth and success in their professional endeavors. This position requires a strong advocate for racial equity, gender equity, and opportunity for all, regardless of background, within the technology sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- Community Engagement: Develop and execute comprehensive community engagement initiatives to foster a strong and supportive alumni community. Establish and maintain strong relationships with community members, responding to inquiries, feedback, and concerns.
- Program Development: Contribute to the development of marketing materials, programming activities, and outreach functions to support the workforce development program alumni community.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with alumni community leaders, Community-Based Organization (CBO) partners, and employer partners to ensure stakeholder needs are met.
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with Community team, Developer Marketing team, RiseUp Marketing team, and Training & Certification Marketing team to align goals and launch cross-team initiatives to support program promotion.
- Content Development: Contribute to the development of engaging content and utilize analytics to monitor engagement and reach on various social media platforms.
- Event Planning: Plan and coordinate workforce development activities, project showcase events, and other community engagement events for alumni.
- Metrics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of program promotion efforts and track participant engagement. Provide regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

**Qualifications** To be successful in this role you have**:

- Experience: 1-2 years of work experience in education, community management, technology, or related fields is desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, relationship-building skills, proficiency in social media platforms, and the ability to coordinate events are essential.
- Passion: Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Passion for workforce advancement, education, and skill-building.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with ServiceNow platform, social media platforms, ServiceNow Admin and Developer communities and creating materials for those networks is advantageous.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving community needs and engagement techniques.
