**Responsibilities**
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values and under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist the Pharmacy Tech III is responsible for the preparation and distribution of all medication orders plus attains and maintains (according to hospital policies under State and Federal laws and regulations) one or more of the following specialties; IV Chemotherapy certification - Surgery Pharmacy Technician status - Certified Pharmacy Technician status (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board).
Minimum Requirements:
High School graduate
I.V. certification by a qualified institution
I.V. Chemotherapy certification
Basic knowledge of computers
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year hospital experience preferred
This position is represented by SEIU Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
**Qualifications**
One year hospital experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing using the English language. Strong attention to detail. Able to follow both oral and written directions. Ability to be precise in filling medication orders and maintaining records. Ability to work tactfully and effectively with team members the patient family and the public. Basic knowledge of computers. Registration: State Board of Pharmacy. I.V. certification by a qualified institution.
**Pay Range**
$32.93 - $41.14 /hour
