- Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results- Develop and maintain key press materials in support of brand initiatives for the PEOPLE & Entertainment Weekly brand.-
- Distribute breaking news press releases and highlight sheets to proactively promote editorial content across our platforms.-
- Responds to media inquiries in a timely manner. Provides editorial copy, images and assets and assist with coordinating interviews for press.-
- Assist in tracking media coverage and organizing press reports for all relevant media coverage; online, print, and broadcast clips-
- Build and research new media contacts and lists-
- Creates customized mailing lists for monthly issue mailings and other special initiatives.-
- Track and compile weekly press reports and press highlights-
- Proactively manage calendars-
- Manage and submit monthly expense reports and departmental invoices- III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | _All must be met to be considered._
- Education:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience
- Experience:

- 1-3 years of public relations experience.
- Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent command of language with strong telephone and interpersonal skills.-
- Ability to create press material and interact effectively with internal and external contacts.-
- Knowledge and comfort using social media platforms to generate brand awareness.-
- Understanding of key databases such as Muckrack, Cision, Burrelles, etc.-
- Experience pitching stories to the media.-
- Strong organization and follow-through skills required.-
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.-
- Ability to research, assess and access resources.-
- Strong computer skills and Internet familiarity.-
- Strong writing skills.-

Pay Range

**Salary**: $62,400.00 - $62,400.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short
- and long-term incentives.
