Looking for Kind and Reliable Caregivers to Help

We are seeking new part-time caregivers for our mom who is aging in place in her Hanover home. **Multiple shifts available starting in May** on Mon/Tue/Wed AMs and Sat PMs (exact shifts outlined below).
Mom was diagnosed with brain cancer 11 years ago and has already survived her prognosis by a decade. We think that her positive attitude and kind spirit have played a big part in this feat While she is now in remission, she has some physical and mental effects leftover from the treatment she underwent, namely difficulty with her speech and limited mobility, particularly on the right side of her body.
Mom is a wheelchair user and needs help with bathing, dressing, meals, being driven to appointments, and toileting. This includes help physically getting to the bathroom and then wiping, though she does have a bidet. Mom does not have dementia, but she has speech aphasia and can't speak quickly, so patience and empathy are helpful qualities for her care team. Mom is not grumpy to caregivers - she is thoughtful, intelligent, and pleasant to be around. Mom is naturally introverted and it can be a bit draining for her to have a caregiver present at all times... but that is what she needs to continue aging safely in place.
Our family is committed to making her aging in place as comfortable and practical as possible, both for Mom and for her care team. She has a walker and a gait belt for the days when she feels strongest, and she uses a wheelchair on most days. Our family got a wheelchair van and sit-to-stand lift to help her care team navigate caring for her. She lives in a lovely wheelchair-accessible condo just outside Hanover, NH with her small dog.
**Services needed**:
- Toileting, Bathing / Dressing, Mobility Assistance (Ability to Lift 50 lbs), Meal Preparation, Help Staying Physically Active, Transportation (Wheelchair Van), Dog Walking
**Available shifts**:
One or more recurring weekly shifts from the below current care team schedule openings. Most of our care team members work between 5-15 hours per week:
- Mon - Wed: 8 am - 1 pm (5 hrs)
- Sat: 2-9 pm (7 hrs) every other week
If interested, please briefly describe how your experience matches the services needed and confirm that the current recurring weekly shift(s) works with your regular availability. There is an opportunity to add more shifts when they become available.
Care team onboarding includes a brief introductory video call, reference check, in-person intros, and a paid training shift.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
