This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and medical billing processes. Responsibilities: - Review and analyze medical records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures - Assign appropriate ICD-10 codes to diagnoses and CPT codes to procedures - Ensure accuracy and completeness of coded information - Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies - Stay up-to-date with changes in coding guidelines and regulations - Assist with medical billing and collection processes as needed - Maintain confidentiality of patient information Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Coding Specialist or similar role - Proficient in ICD-10 coding system - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Familiarity with medical billing and collection processes - Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems - Knowledge of ICD-9, DRG, and other coding systems is a plus - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
