About this role

Overview

Key responsibilities:

- Prepare and update carry committee materials, including carry allocations, and projected carry value modeling
- Collaborate with the businesses to ensure alignment of compensation philosophies and carry grants with business objectives and strategies
- Demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of the private market business landscape
- Utilize strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to analyze data and create comprehensive reports
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Carry Committee members, COOs, HR business partners to drive positive outcomes
- Participate in strategic initiatives to enhance the carry and co-investment reporting process and scalability
- Support the Head of Carry and Co-Investment team as well as the Group’s Director with ad hoc requests

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- At least 3-4 years of prior experience is required
- Proven experience in Carry and Co-Investment role in Alternative Industry
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to collaborate with senior leadership and influence decision-making
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial modeling tools

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
