**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee managers and team members who are responsible for warehouse, logistics, and purchasing operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and performance.
- Define and execute operations strategy, structure, and processes to align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement improvements in processes and policies to assure that advancements in logistics services support competitive costs and continuous improvement to provide excellent service.
- Take ownership of the annual budgeting process and manage P&L responsibilities.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all operational phases, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
- Foster collaboration and coordination across various business functions to support operational excellence.
- Recruit, train, and mentor operations managers to cultivate a high-performing team culture.
- Provide regular performance updates and strategic insights to the senior leadership team.
- Travel to company locations 2-4 times per year or more as needed.
**Requirements**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in distribution, with 7-10 years in leadership management roles.
- Proven track record of setting and implementing strategy across multiple business units.
- Previous experience in capital planning and P&L responsibility preferred.
- Familiarity with implementing automation and AI technologies is advantageous.
