- **Part Time **_**2-3 shifts/week 20-30 hours per week**

**Full time 4-6 shifts/week 30-40+ hours per week**

**Job requirements**: Must represent yourself & carry out duties in an upscale professional manner, Must excel in a fast pace & active work environment, share our creative passion for providing high end top quality daycare & boarding services, must work well with others/ team player, self starter, excellent communication skills, note taking/self-checking skills, able to listen to critique, attention to detail with consistency, prior dog behavior knowledge(willingness to learn), prior off leash dog play experience (willingness to learn), practice safe dog handling(willingness to learn), practicing positive reinforcement & training practices(willingness to learn), able to carry out training games & dog enrichment activities (willingness to learn), **training experience is a big plus, **able to follow pet nutrition instruction, able to administer medication to dogs, able to work inside and outside despite weather conditions, able to go up and down stairs frequently, able to lift 50 pounds frequently, customer communications skills, you will be typing, bending, squatting, dead lifting, lifting, sitting, standing, crouching, basic calculating, tons of scrubbing & sanitizing, daily cleaning, property upkeep such as caulking or paint touch ups, minor repairs, & yard work.

**Shifts**

Schedules out for review with 2 weeks notice.

Opening shifts, closing shifts, weekends & holiday availability, flexibility required by all staff.

Typical shift is 10 hours

**Shift range examples**:
Shifts can be shorter or longer depending on demand.

Opening **6:30am-5:00pm** (10.5 hours)

Alt Opening 6:45am-3:45pm (8 hours)

Closing **9:45am
- 8:15pm** (10.5 hours)

Alt Closing 12:00pm-8:00pm (8 hours)

The resort is open 13 hours a day Monday-Friday

On Saturday the Resort is open 12 hours

Sundays we are closed to the public, however, we run a 12 hour work day
- 6:45am-8:00pm shifts available
- Overnight shifts available 8:00pm-6:45am

**Starting wage with experience for our R.A.D.s (Resort Activities Directors) is $13.00-$14.00/hour** (nail trims, baths, photos, client communications, body language basics, comfortable with facility)

**No experience** will start at current **State Minimum Wage** and reassessed at 90 day review.

**Duties**:
The duties each employee will be responsible for at Water Bowl Oasis cover many areas of care. In this section we will break down these duties.

*All employees need to be extremely observant at all times & pay attention to minute detail*

Basic Duties

1. Dog Care

Feeding, medicating, observing, play group creation, reading body language, dog behavior knowledge, training reinforcement, proper brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth freshening, eye booger removal, nail buffing, proper blow drying, bathing, crate training, potty training, making bandanas, confidence training, training games, cleaning dog messes, noting anything abnormal.

2. Cleaning

Cleaning dog areas, cleaning entire resort, dusting all surfaces, vacuuming, scrubbing walls, scrubbing floors, scrubbing doors, Windex windows, cleaning out fridge, clean behind fridge, poop pick-up, trash pick-up, dust blinds, dishes, water bowls sanitized, laundry daily, belonging bins cleaned out, yards raked, yards vacuumed, yards sanitized, monthly cleaning, toys sanitized, grooming tub sanitized, annual building maintenance, painting and any other necessary maintenance duties.
