**Saia is searching for a Regional Human Resources Manager**

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Regional HR Manager serves as the primary Human Resources contact for employees within the region(s) they represent. Works closely with regional management to develop and implement Human Resources strategies, which support the business plans of their respective region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive organizational effectiveness activities throughout facilities based on data driven assessments of opportunities.
- Serves as a liaison between field operations and Human Resources centers of expertise, helping to design and implement talent strategies.
- Provides counsel to management regarding the performance management processes, strategies and tactics
- Leads teammate engagement efforts, and partners with employees and leaders to maintain a positive work environment
- Administers and implements Company Human Resources policies, procedures, and employee relations strategies.
- Serves as an advocate for both hourly and salaried employees.
- Provides oversight and support of overall staffing levels in facilities, and develops strategies to reach requisite levels.
- Promotes use of the “Open Door Policy”
- Assesses management/supervisory training needs and delivers appropriate training.
- Performs other duties as required.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR management or generalist experience.
- Experience successfully supporting HR functions in a multi-site/state environment.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law.
- Proficiency in office software systems such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and develop good working relationships.
- Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision.
- **Must be able to travel 50% or more.**:

Today, Saia's network of 199 terminals covers 45 states in the U.S. as well as Canada. Through our network of partners, we serve the balance of the U.S. including Alaska and Hawaii, plus Puerto Rico and Mexico. Through our three operating service groups - Saia LTL, LinkEx, and Saia Logistics Services - we provide complete transportation and logistics solutions.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
