SDC maintains and operates an extensive fleet of modern, heavy equipment deployed by our experienced field crews, foreman and superintendents. SDC is seeking a Survey helper in Clermont, FL, to assist in construction survey layout and as-builts. This is an opportunity to create a new career in construction surveying.

**Duties**:

- Conduct land surveys and measurements using various tools and equipment
- Perform utility locating to identify underground infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate project specifications
- Conduct research and gather information from various sources to assist in surveying projects

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid FL Driver license and clean driving history
- Able to carry equipment through rough terrain
- Proficiency in using surveying tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and client
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be comfortable working outside year
- round in all types of weather
- Exposure to varying levels of physical activities. Standing, crouching, walking, crawling. Capable of heavy lifting up to 50 pounds or more
- Friendly and professional attitude. Willing to listen and learn
