Daniel's Bagels is seeking talented bakers to join our small, efficient team. We are in the process of growing our production as we open our first brick-and-mortar location and add new sales channels in the coming weeks and months. As a new, up-and-coming business, this position offers lots of room to grow along with the company. If you have a passion for baking, a willingness to learn, and excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare doughs according to established recipes and standards.
- Shape bagels and monitor the dough proofing process.
- Boil, top, and bake bagels.
- Collaborate with other team members to distribute product for retail and farmers' markets as well as catering, pickup, and wholesale orders accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with monitoring inventory levels and coordinate with management to place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Adapt to changing priorities and production schedules as needed.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service when necessary.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Customer service skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries or complaints effectively.
- Understanding of food safety principles and regulations.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Passion for baking and a dedication to delivering high-quality products.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Food Manager Certificate (can be acquired upon employment).

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
