Position Information
The College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences is one of the two largest colleges on the UCR campus, with 20 academic departments, numerous programs and administrative units, and five formal research centers. The Dean's Office Contracts and Grants (C&G) Unit provides pre-award Contract and Grant support to any College faculty and/or graduate student seeking assistance. Under the general direction of the Assistant Dean/CFAO, the Contracts and Grants Supervisor leads the Contracts and Grants Unit by reviewing budget allocations for policy exceptions, creates and maintains chart of accounts or other data management tools. The supervisor leads the organization, planning, establishment and monitoring of fiscal budget control of contracts and grants administration, submissions, and budgets. The Contracts and Grants Supervisor provides guidance and counsel on a wide variety of highly complex research administration matters to principal investigators, senior departmental administrators, and departmental staff.

The full salary range for the Contracts and Grants Supervisor is $64,300 - $114,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $64,300 - $76,800 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
