In this position, you will lead the Weight Management and Control Team for Advanced Development Programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1) Coordinating with program managers and program technical leadership to establish and direct operating concepts, tailored processes, procedures and priorities to meet program and customer mass properties requirements.

This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Experience with technical leadership of a team of mass properties engineers in the development phase on a military aircraft program.
- Experience and proficiency in Mass Properties Control and Management Integration for one or more aircraft program life cycle phases (Development, Production, Sustainment).
- Experience providing cost, technical, and schedule direction in a dynamic aircraft program environment.

**Desired Skills**:

- Military aircraft experience and product knowledge.
- Experience with key U.S.A.F. and/or U.S. Navy and U.S. Marines customers and offices that drive weight requirements.
- Familiarity with mass properties control and management processes and data management systems.
- Experience leading technical mass properties teams for programs in the production phase
- Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to effectively interact with Integrated Product Teams and Customers to solve complex configuration management and weight control challenges.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.

**Ability to Work Remotely**:Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

**Work Schedules**:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

**Schedule for this Position**:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
