LifeConnections is an “essential” behavioral health care provider with residential programs all across Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. We primarily serve adults with developmental disabilities and complex mental health conditions who have experienced significant trauma and struggle with ongoing behavioral challenges.

**Position**:AssistantRegional Director (North Central Massachusetts)

**Office Location**:Leominster Office

**Summary**:The North Central Assistant Regional Director provides administrative, clinical, programmatic and operations oversight of several adult residential programs supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This region encompasses the following cities/towns: Fitchburg, Leominster, Ashburnham & Westminster.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:
1. Assist Director with the recruitment, training and onboarding of Residential Managers and Direct Support Professionals.

2. Oversee residences in the absence of a Residential Manger to ensure regulatory standards are maintained.

3. Provide staffing coverage as needed in the homes.

4. Connect 1:1 with new DSP’s and shared living providers within their first month of service to check in and ensure successful onboarding and training.

5. Oversee shared living programs (if applicable).

6. Responsible for ensuring that the workforce feels valued through recognition of their daily impact. This may include the development of recognition programs specific to our DSP’s and providers (including recognition of birthdays, holidays, years of service, quality of service provided).

7. Coordinate recognition activities for_ **DSP Week**_ annually.

8. Coordinate quarterly events for providers (holiday parties, summer BBQ etc.).

9. Develop resource manual for DSP and providers to assist in the development of activity schedules.

10. Provides on-call responsibilities for the region.

11. Conduct monthly home visits to each program.

12. Perform monthly financial audits at residential programs.

13. Perform monthly MAP audits at residential programs.

14. Verify that the weekly synopsis matches weekly site schedules.

15. Assist in scheduling and facilitating training for the monthly New Employee Orientation.

**Essential Functions of the Position**:
1. Promotes a respectful and dignified living environment for all individuals at all times.

2. Provide on-call coverage as scheduled.

3. Ensure all medications are administered within MAP guidelines.

4. Must be willing and able to handle stressful situations at all times, especially when dealing with the complex behavioral programs of the individuals we serve.

5. Must be willing and able to react quickly and effectively to emergency situations at all times.

6. Promotes a positive and professional relationship with community members, colleagues and funding sources.

7. Experience with DDS/DMH regulations and reporting procedures including HCSIS.

8. Ensure all staff maintain all required training/certifications.

9. Ability to work in a team atmosphere with various departments (Clinical, Nursing, etc.) to achieve the best possible services for the individuals we serve.

**Qualifications**:
1. Valid Driver’s License.

2. Flexibility to work varying hours to meet the needs of the adult programs.

3. Ability to pass an acceptable Criminal Records Check (CORI).

4. Demonstrated ability to provide documentation and communication skills, as well as demonstrated organizational skills in an effective supportive manner.

5. Demonstrated physical capacity to be able to pass and implement PABC training and holds.

6. Ability to complete Medication Administration (MAP) training/certification.

7. Ability to pass all mandatory trainings including but not limited to CPR/First Aid, Human Rights Officer, Fire Safety Officer, etc.
