Job Summary:
**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience in the restaurant/deli/catering industry
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to stand for 6-8 hour shifts

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare ingredients for salads and cold dishes according to recipes
- Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits
- Assemble salads with attention to presentation and portion control
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries

**Skills**:

- Proficient in using knives for food preparation
- Knowledge of food handling practices
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume catering or restaurant setting
- Experience as a dietary aide is beneficial
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Basic meal preparation skills
