We are seeking a proficient Low Voltage Field IT Technician to join our expanding security company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with installation technicians to perform programming, inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance for a range of low voltage security systems, including fire alarm, security alarm, access control, surveillance, CCTV, and intercom systems, catering to both commercial and residential clients.
- Occasionally handle the pulling and termination of various low voltage cabling as per project requirements.
- Execute infrastructure wiring tasks as necessary.
- Install and configure devices, computers, and servers.
- Program devices and ensure their functionality.
- Provide ongoing maintenance for low voltage systems.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades as needed.
- Assist in planning, testing, and deploying equipment.
- Contribute to the selection and procurement of appropriate hardware and software.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and reports.
- Update assigned tickets and other necessary documentation.
- Stay updated on advancements in hardware, software, and network technology.
- Offer user assistance both in person and remotely.
- Undertake miscellaneous tasks as delegated.

**Requirements**:

- Possession of a current valid driver’s license.
- Two years of experience in general computer installation.
- Experience in computer maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with security low voltage systems.
- Preference for CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications.

Physical Requirements:

- Mental/Sensory: Strong recall, reasoning, problem-solving, hearing, clear speech, legible writing, reading, logical thinking.
- Emotional: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, engage in frequent and intense customer interactions, and adapt to frequent changes.
