The State of New Hampshire, Department of State Corporations Division has a full time vacancy for a Records Control Clerk.

**SCOPE OF WORK**:To perform a variety of duties and support activities in conjunction with the filing of documents with the Secretary of State.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Interview the public consumer to obtain needed information regarding corporate filings.
- Inform applicants and callers about state requirements regarding filings.
- Audit and verify completion of documents for accuracy and verify that fees comply with statutory requirements.
- Prepare and mail correspondence regarding routine corporate matters.
- Knowledgeable of types of filings and corresponding laws relative to these filings.
- Performs a variety of related duties as required.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Each year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience: Two years of clerical experience involving typing, preferably in the area of records management.
