Buyers are the “business owner” of high volume, commodity vendor and category groupings. They will strategically source products and brands, onboard new items, forecast demand, and negotiate vendor contracts with a ‘never good enough’ attitude. Buyers must have an entrepreneurial mind, a keen understanding of industry trends, and an intimate involvement with their product/industry arena. They are relentless when it comes to getting the best deal. We are looking for self-starting, confident, intelligent, individuals who want to make an impact in a busy and growing company. This position is full-time and located in Lancaster, PA.

**Responsibilities**:

- Heavily focused on pure negotiation of our highest volume, most commodity driven SKUs
- Competitive nature that has them constantly looking for ways to improve our purchasing through cost, MOQs, terms and other key factors in any deal
- Never settling with the current scenario, constantly looking to improve and optimize our situation
- Owns key vendor relationships within product category/categories
- Research and effectively launch new products to drive further results
- Strategically define and execute projects to maximize revenue and gross profit
- Generate creative ideas and take risks to optimize our ROI in their categories
- Eliminates barriers to aide team effectiveness
- Promotes vision, values, and culture

Relevant positions include Procurement Manager, Category Manager, Senior Category Manager, Technical Buyer, Buyer II, and Supply Chain Manager.
