The Service Manager is responsible for managing a dynamic, performance driven residential service team that believes in providing 5-star service to clients while exceeding company goals. Serving as a leader, motivator, trainer, recruiter and sales driver, the Service Manager inspires their team to provide customers with superior service, which results in higher lead conversion and client fulfillment. As Service Manager you will continue to build and lead the Plumbing & Drain service department with the best in the business working with you. This position will also handle hiring and developing staff, inclusive of setting and maintaining goals/standards, production monitoring and analysis and obtaining and sharing product knowledge on services and systems.

**Pay Range**: $80,000-$100,000 plus bonus opportunities

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical assistance to Technicians when requested or when necessary to ensure high quality of service to customer
- Lead, direct, and motivate department to reach their highest level of potential and achieve maximum motivation and attitude within service department
- Invest time on personal development to increase personal leadership within departments
- Provide ongoing technical and safety training to ensure we maintain the level of knowledge and skills to do quality work, promote a safe working environment and prepare for future growth
- Ensure all Technicians have the necessary tools, equipment, and manpower to maximize their potential to provide the highest quality service to our customers as possible
- Work with the dispatch department to make sure the right technician goes to the right job.
- Manage and guide service technicians, as well as maintain involvement with call Center Manager, Lead Coordination, and Dispatch Center Managers daily
- Consistently provide service and sales performance support to the techs via ride a longs, site visits, and coaching calls
- Promote enthusiasm and brand loyalty during daily huddles, team meetings and 1:1’s.
- Help develop annual budgets, control expenses, and meet or exceed plan.
- Ensure sufficient staff levels to meet ongoing customer demand and seasonal spikes.
- Train, develop and hold your team accountable to exceptional customer satisfaction and performance standards.
- Oversee customer issue resolution including site visits, oversight of repairs, and follow ups
- Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- 5+ years of service manager experience in the home services industry
- Must have plumbing or skilled trades experience to perform duties
- Flexible and multitask oriented; the workload may change quickly and will require a willingness to respond accordingly.
- Possess the ability to inspire both personal and professional growth in our team members.
- Ability to drive team performance to achieve all business goals and objectives.
- Be detail oriented and a highly organized multi-tasker with good presentation skills and the ability to convey confident and decisive messages in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment.
- Excellent organization skills, accuracy, and dependability
- Exceptional follow-through capabilities
- Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
