**Position Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret part prints to determine the specific welding requirements.
- Prepare/fabricate stainless steel components for welding using saws, drills, mills, and grinders.
- Setup welding machines according to Welding Procedure Specifications
- Use MIG and TIG welders to complete welded assemblies per prints
- Passivate welded assemblies
- Operate press brake to form sheet metal components
- Deburr laser material to prepare for forming and welding
- Organizes and maintains work area to 5S standards
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
- Work with other team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Assists in other areas within the business as needed
- Technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and training.
- Experience with TIG & MIG welding of stainless steels
- Ability to pass and operate within AWS D 1.6 and D1.3 Qualifications
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- High willingness to learn
- Ability to operate forklift, Aerial platform and overhead crane
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
- Displays a strong initiative and drive to identify gaps and fill them

**Work Environment**

This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, grinders, and welders.

**Physical Demands**

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member must be able to:

- Talk and listen
- Frequently stand and work in a fast-paced environment where they will often be multitasking
- Lift between 50 - 70 lbs
- Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Able to move about inside the warehouse
- Be able to drive, go up heights
- Ability to work and commute in all weather conditions
- Able to effectively communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information
- Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers.
- Tolerate vibrating tools and louder than normal work environment at times.

**Travel**

Travel is primarily local during the business day. Occasional travel to franchise locations.
