**Position **Summary**

As part of the Academics Team, the _Curriculum _Specialist, NY _EANS_ ensures that all information regarding Curriculum Development under New York State EANS I and EANS II is thoroughly collected, organized, and compliant with the memorandum of understanding (MOU). S/he is responsible for communicating with schools and PD consultants who develop content to understand the scope of curriculum development and ensure its alignment to the memorandum of understanding (MOU). The_ Curriculum Specialist, NY EANS_ will collect and organize all documentation associated with each school’s work, to begin a full quality review in Fall 2024.

**Specific responsibilities include**:
**School Communication**
- Communicate with PD consultants to understand school’s scope of work in alignment with the MOU
- Serve as a point of contact when collecting curriculum documentation
- Manage deadlines for consultants
- Communicate feedback to teams and schools

**Data and File Management**
- Maintain and update a database of schools utilizing EANS I + EANS II funding for PD Curriculum Development
- Develop and manage a process for collecting documents and demonstrating evidence of work

**Project **Management***
- Manage the project life cycle from initiation to closing
- Guide project discovery processes
- Set project goals, create timelines, and track deliverables against curriculum-focused project
- Track projects and plans against MOUs
- Plan and schedule regular meeting cadences
- Craft ongoing communication
