**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Communication - Communicate and coordinate successfully with event hosts.
- Conduct catering events all around the greater Austin area. **Must have own means of transportation**:

- Customer Service - Interact with customers and take their orders for our delicious pancake and drink concoctions.
- Event Prep - Set up and tear down event area.
- Ingredient Prep - Shop for food inventory in preparation for an event.
- Food Prep - Assemble the ingredients for the order, cook, and serve to our customers.
- Cleaning - Keep the work area and sitting areas clean. Clean event tools and equipment.
- Systems - Monitor our inventory and indicate when we need to replenish.
- Leadership - Opportunities to learn leadership within the operation.

**WORKING EVENTS **(What it looks like to work one of our events):

- Our days of operation are Monday-Sunday
- Event times vary based on bookings. **Events are on a PRN basis.** Meaning you get to work them around your schedule. They can happen at all times of day
- Must be able to work at least 3-4 days a week; one of those two days may be at one of our Food Truck locations prepping for events.
- The pay for events is **$15.00 before tips**. You get paid per event. Usually you work with another person but if you get good, you can take small events by yourself. Events are usually anywhere from 2.5-5 hours. Pancake making time is usually 1-2.5 hours. Set up and break down time are 30-45 minutes each.
- **The event tips are split down the middle.** If you do the event by yourself, you get all the tips. Typically, events only need 2 people, but 3 people can be staffed for bigger events (300+ people)
- When a client does not tip, we **guarantee** you $40.00 in tips.
- We are always looking to develop leaders and give more responsibility to hard workers. **Raises and promotions will be available as earned.**:

- You can expect to make a variety of pancake creations and prepare drinks like lemonades and iced coffees.
- We do many types of events: weddings, birthday parties, corporate, Farmers Markets, HOAs and much more.
- We participate in several festivals throughout the year such as **Kite Fest, Blues on the Green, ACL Trail of Lights and more**. Usually those are all hands on deck types of events

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
