Production Sewing Position

OVERALL ROLE:
Manufacture quality straps and assemblies in the Strap Production Department.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ability to operate various commercial sewing machines.
- Ability to change needles, wind bobbins and thread sewing machines.
- Fold material to be specific lengths to be sewn with the use of rulers and length guides.
- Make accurate measurements as specified on production sheets when needed.
- Maintain accurate counts of pieces manufactured per job.
- Complete required production logs with required information such as time spent and quantity produced.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Report all discrepancies to appropriate supervisors.
- Ability to lift boxes weighing 30 pounds or less.
